The sun shone warmly, and the sky was clear blue as Pontus blew the horn – it was time for Disablót!
On March 8th, we honored goddesses of various kinds at the beautiful Valsgärde. Fittingly, International Women’s Day also fell on the same date. Sixteen people stood gathered in the circle, sharing thoughts, feelings, and toasts together. It’s always great to see familiar faces returning, along with a few new ones.
After the blót, we had a very pleasant swedish fika as usual, and the blót offerings were placed beneath the Ash nearby. Interest and curiosity about Asatru are growing alongside our excellent blót kindred, and it brings me joy to hear thoughts on the faith from new perspectives.
