A smaller, closed blót where the blót kindred was able to deepen the work with themselves, each other, and strengthen the bonds to the faith.
The blót was held at Grossvad in Finspång, Sweden with all members present. The blótofficiant was the kindred leader Kristian Svensson, who had selected central parts of the items the blót kindred usually uses. The focus was on simplicity and what is most essential.
The blótofficiant clarified the symbolism:
The Horn – Here we have transferred energies, thoughts, and emotions.
We have shared joy and sorrow with one another and with the Powers, and made offerings from it.
A strong symbol of the bond between members and the Powers.
The Oath Ring – Upon this we have sworn oaths and promised before one another and the Powers to stand by our words and actions.
It carries much of the strength of the blót kindred.
Two Raven Heads – A reminder that the Powers are with us, see and hear what we do and say.
Only the Powers and the individual know the truth.
The Absence of a hlautbowl – Who am I to judge or promise what I do not govern? The Powers smile upon the one who proves worthy. It is they who judge when the time has come.
Two toasts were conducted: first a toast of strength, thereafter an open toast where each person could direct their wish.
The blót concluded with a toast of open speech, holding the oath ring in hand.
After the blót, the blót kindred gathered at the home of a member where sandwich cake, coffee, tea, and drinks were served.

Stories, antics, and laughter followed one another again and again.
