On Sunday, February 1st, the blót kindred Idavallen gathered at the Mogården burial ground in Sweden to hold a communal Midwinter blót for the first time since I joined. This blót was closed, and was thus held intimately within our own little community that we have built up over the years within the Värmland expanses. Midwinter blót in particular has always been a time for reflection and thought in solitude for me. A breathing space where I detach myself from the noise and sluggishness of everyday life and truly go within, almost meditatively.

Today marks the beginning of the Yule celebration, a festival which in heathen contexts is also known as the Midwinter Blót. It is a time when community stands at the center, and when the turning of the year is observed through gathering, gift-giving, and shared celebration. Under the light of the full moon, horns are raised to Odin and Freyr, gods associated with wisdom, fertility, and responsibility for both humankind and the world.

8/10 Vergelmer held an Álfablót at Gültzauudden in Luleå. We were three people who took part this weekend. It is the time of year when we together look back to our loved ones who are no longer among us, those who have left to take their next journey to a new world.

On Saturday, November 8th, the blót kindred Sleipner held its closed Álfablót.
This blót is a very personal one, and many choose to hold it by themselves or in the company of the people closest to them. During this blót, thoughts turn to the ancestors, and the emotions that arise during these toasts are incredibly personal when it comes to those who have passed on. For this reason, Sleipner chooses to keep this blót closed.

On the first day of November, Ymer held a closed *Álfablót*, where the blót kindred, along with close friends and family, were invited. This took place at the venerable and mysterious Rösaring in Upplands Bro. If you have never been there, this place is highly recommended, as its history is unique and the ancient remains are fascinating.

The sun shone warmly, and the sky was clear blue as Pontus blew the horn – it was time for Disablót!
On March 8th, we honored goddesses of various kinds at the beautiful Valsgärde.

Den 16:e November höll blotlaget Draupnir ett slutet Alvablot vid Fagertofta gravfält.

Den 16/11 höll Sleipner blotlag sitt årliga Alvablot. Ett blot till våra makter och dom som gått på Midgård innan oss, ett blot ägnat åt förfäder, när som avlägsna, blodsband eller ej.

Under kalla helgen hade blotlaget Vergelmer Alvablot i Luleå, det är den årstid som vi tillsammans blickar till våra nära och kära som inte finns bland oss, dom som har lämnat Midgård för ta sin nästa resa.

16 November höll blotlaget Gungnir Alvablot vid Valeberg-Ryds gravfält.
