Come and celebrate the Summer Blot with the Nordiska Asa-samfundet (Nordic Asa-community).

On Saturday 29 July at 14:00, NAS/NAC will once again hold a Summer Blot at the fantastic Rök Runestone in Ödeshög, Sweden.

In 2022, we were just over 120 brothers and sisters who had gathered at Rök Runestone to pay tribute to our Nordic gods and goddesses, we obviously hope to exceed last year’s figure by far!

In addition to the blot on Saturday, various activities are organised during the day, such as a quiz, market, mead competition, blót kindred competition etc. The evening is rounded off with a feast.

• Blot: Free
• Feast Grownup: 200 sek /Person (Only applies to the feast after the blot)
• Feast Children: Free for children up to 16 years.
• Caravan/Mobile home: 50 sek/Site (Valid Friday 28 July – Sunday 30 July)
• Tent Site: 30 sek/Site (Valid Friday 28 July – Sunday 30 July)
• Parking: 20  sek (Valid Friday 28 July – Sunday 30 July)

CAMPING:

We have rented a field about 500 meters from the Rökstone for camping where there is the possibility for caravan, motorhome and tent. The campsite is without electricity and water, we will take care of toilets and water is available at the Rök Runestone. There will be people on site at the campsite from Friday lunchtime (28 July) to Sunday evening (30 July) to show you where to camp/park.

FEAST:

After the blot, a big FEAST is arranged down at NAS/NAC Camping site. The feast is a tie feast where everyone brings their own food / drink. NAS/NAC will assist with barbecues , tables, chairs and party tents.

INITIATION CEREMONY:

After the naked, there will be an opportunity for those who want to carry out the initiation ceremony, which involves stepping out of your old beliefs and entering the Asatru in front of the Gods, Goddesses and the powers of the place.

BLÓT KINDRED CONTEST:

After the blot on Saturday, it’s time again for the NAS/NAC blót kindreds to compete for the prestigious title: Blót Kindred Champions! Here all the blót kindreds compete against each other in a variety of sports.

MEAD COMPETITION:

On Saturday, there will be a mead competition where you have the opportunity to participate with your own mead and get the opportunity to be named Best Mead of the Year! Contact Peter Karlsson if you want to participate in the mead competition, e-mail: [email protected]

QUIZ:

On Saturday, there will be an opportunity for a quiz with questions about our Old Nordic faith. Nice prices are promised.

MARKET:

During Saturday, there will be vendors on site where you can buy various crafts, books, clothes, etc.
Registration as a vendor/craftsman:
If you want to show or sell your crafts as a craftsman, you are welcome to register to  Kristian Svensson at [email protected] before booking/registering in the form below.
As a craftsman, you get free accommodation, parking and free entry to the feast.

Due to the lack of space on the campsite, we have decided to limit the number of tents, caravans/mobile homes and parking..
