Ymer called for a Midwinter Blót on 11 January. It was a dark and rather windy evening, but still incredibly beautiful in the light of the full moon and lanterns in the snow. We only had time to start preparing before there was a turnout of participants, old and new. It was not only Uppsala residents, but some had travelled from Stockholm and Västerås, and others had travelled from Dalarna. We were a total of 15 participants, where 2 people chose to stand outside the ring.
Pontus Arthursson held the Midwinter Blót, and told how the blót was held in the past and which Gods were in focus. During the toasts, more gods were added. More nice reflections during the toasts came, such as being a good fellow human to all individuals around us.
After the blót, we thanked Patrik Bergman, who has chosen to leave the blót kindred, with gifts (mead glasses) and a card from the blót kindred Ymer. We thank you for all your dedication and wisdom that you have shared with us!
Tommy and Carina offered coffee and hot drinks which was much anticipated.
