When Njord chose to give us some stronger weather over our part of Midgard on October 4th, the blót kindred Sleipner held out and carried out the Winter Nights blót by the rock carvings at the Himmestalund field in Norrköping in Sweden.
Quite admirably, we were a total of 18 people in the circle, 2 children and 3 people outside of it, of which 1 was a child, a mix of familiar faces and some completely new ones, from both near and far, and even some from our neighboring blót kindred Yggdrasil with blót kindred leader Lena Salomonsson at the forefront.
The ceremony was conducted by Emil Klangeryd with assisting Magnus Andersson.
There was talk about all the hard work our farmers have done during the harvest this year, as well as the feeling of a coming new year.
Emil, who feels strongly for the place, chose to tell a bit about his experiences and feelings for this very site.
Many toasts were made to many gods, family, kin, and friends.
When Emil then declared the blót concluded, Lena took the word and swore in yet another member into her blót kindred Yggdrasil, Småland.
After that, two initiation rites were also performed.

At our blóts one can experience many different things if the time is right, there are many beautiful blóts, rites, and ceremonies to participate in and even go through oneself if one wishes to deepen their faith.
