Tag: Blót Kindred Yggdrasil

On April 12th, we gathered at the ancient Inglinge mound, just outside Växjö in Sweden to hold our Victory Blót. When we arrived, a grey blanket of clouds lay over the site and a chilly wind swept through the air, as if winter was reluctant to release its grip. Sól remained hidden but occasionally let her rays peek through as we prepared the blót table, raised the banner of the Nordic Asa-Community, and our flags adorned with Yggdrasil. Just as the flags were raised, ravens appeared in the sky—they circled above us like guardians, and their presence filled our hearts with warmth. One could feel that the powers approved. To see and hear the Raven God messengers at that moment created a strong sense of harmony with the sacred.

On March 15th, the Blót kindreds Yggdrasil and Sleipner gathered at Replösa Burial Ground for a joint Disablót. The weather was favorable, with the rain kept away, and Sunna let her rays warm the eleven participants standing in the circle. The focus of the moment was reverence, community, and joy.

On Saturday, January 18, we held our midwinter blót at Lenhovda burial ground, which is quite a large burial site located in a relatively compact and central area within the local heritage park in Lenhovda. It was a powerful blót in a powerful place.

Lördagen den 23 November höll Blotlag Yggdrasil Alvablot. Det var ett slutet blot för blotlagsmedlemmar med familjer för att hedra våra förfäder och de som inte finns med oss på Midgård idag, men som ändå alltid är med oss.

Den 26:e oktober höll vi vårt blot för Vinternätter slutet i samband med att vi hade vårt halvårsmöte. Platsen för blotet var i anslutning till mötesplatsen i Målilla.

Den 27:e april höll vi Segerblot nere i Torhamn, Karlskrona som tillhör NAS Distrikt Syd, tanken med att vi tog oss utanför vårt eget distrikt var att medlemmar och intresserade i det distriktet skulle få möjligheten att komma på ett blot.

Den 24/3 höll Sleipner och Yggdrasil ett gemensamt Disablot vid Ringstad Gravfält.

Den 27 januari höll vi återigen vårt Midvinterblot i Torsa Stenar som ligger strax sydväst om Toranäs i Almesåkra socken i Nässjö kommun.
