On a sunny Saturday, October 11th, the Blót kindred Idavallen gathered for the first time at the Mogården burial ground to hold the Winter Nights Blót. This time, marking the end of summer’s idleness and the harsh arrival of winter, felt far away on this particular day. The sun warmed us generously as we held our ceremony among ancient graves in the presence of the Powers.

On Friday, August 15th, Idavallen held a blót at Dye Domarringar in Sweden in honor of Tors MC. Around 35 people participated, many from the motorcycle community, gathered in friendship and faith. The sacred site, where ancient people once honored their dead, gave a strong sense of connection with the ancestors. NBR Thommy Vähäsalo led the blót, called in the powers, and delivered a speech that wove together the strength of the gods with the fellowship of biker culture. Toasts were raised to the powers, family, and friends before the circle was dissolved. A successful evening filled with faith, tradition, and community.

On Saturday, June 14th, the blót kindred Idavallen held its annual summer gathering. We all met at the home of Ida and NBR Thommy Vähäsalo to carry out the Idavallen Championships, half-year meeting, and Summer Solstice Rite.

On Saturday, April 12th, Blót kindred Idavallen was meant to hold its customary open Victory Blót at Hammarsudde, Hammarö in Värmland, Sweden. However, this was not the case this time, as our blót kindred leader and NBR Thommy Vähäsalo was unfortunately struck by illness. As a result, the planning fell through, and we decided instead to hold the Victory Blót separately.

Around 2 PM, the group formed the sacred circle to hold Disablót together on the windswept burial ground of Lekebacken in Närke, Sweden. The attendees consisted of both members of the blót kindred and returning visitors.

On Sunday, January 12, 2025, members of Blót Kindred Idavallen held their midwinter blót separately. I do not have much to add regarding this, as I myself, together with NBR Thommy Vähäsalo, participated in Blót Kindreds Gungnir and Draupnir’s joint Midwinter Blót this year.

On Saturday, December 14, the Blót Kindred Idavallen held a combined annual meeting, winter solstice ride and guild. All of them were held at the home of our NBR and Blót Kindred leader Thommy Vähäsalo.

Den 19:e oktober 2024 höll blotlag Idavallen heligt för att fira Vinternätter. Detta blot var öppet och hölls i RBA Thommy Vähäsalos gudahov Trätälja.

Den sista Lördagen i april samlades blotlag Idavallen vid Hammars Udde för att återigen hålla vårt traditionsbundna öppna segerblot. Den natursköna plats vi årligen återvänder till är belägen med Vänern strax till väst, ett gravfält helt inpå till söder och en något äldre Domarring till norr.
