Annual Rites Introduced in the Nordic Asa-community – New Rites for...

The Nordic Asa-community presents the Annual Rites – a new ritual order developed by the Goði/Gyðja-circle, which was put into use at the turn of the year. These rites follow the movements of the sun and the changing seasons and mark points in the annual cycle: the spring and autumn equinoxes as well as the winter solstice and the summer solstice.

2025 – The Year When Perseverance Prevailed and the Roots Grew...

As we now look back on 2025, we can conclude that it has been a year of historic victories, deeper roots, and a community that has grown stronger than it has been in a very long time. It has been the year when a long struggle finally bore fruit, and when we quite literally put the spade into the ground for the future. A year in which perseverance, unity, and long-term commitment proved their true worth. We have demonstrated that Ásatrú is not a relic of the past – it is a living reality for thousands of people here and now.

Pillaging of Gamla Uppsala – The Nordic Asa-Community Raises a Nidstang...

What has recently occurred in Gamla Uppsala is a desecration – an assault, not only against the land but against our shared heritage, our folk memory, and the rest of our ancestors. When around forty looting pits were discovered on December 9th, something deep trembled within many of us. This is not merely vandalism – it is a violation of sacred ground.

We at the Nordic Asa-Community are now very pleased to announce that a building permit has been granted for a dedicated burial site for heathens in Molkom, Sweden. This is a historic decision – the first of its kind in Sweden in modern times – and the result of several years of determined work from our community.

Anundshög has been Subjected to looting

The Nordic Asa-Community is deeply upset and outraged by the desecration that has now struck Anundshög – one of Sweden’s most significant ancient heritage sites. That someone has deliberately dug over 50 pits into the ship settings at this ancient site is nothing less than a frontal assault on our shared cultural heritage, our history, and our Old Norse faith.

The Pope Stone in Gamla Uppsala has now been removed –...

The Pope Stone in Gamla Uppsala in Sweden has now been removed after a long and multi-year struggle by the Nordic Asa-community. This is not only a victory for our cultural heritage but also a triumph against the Catholic Church and their disrespectful violations of our sacred sites.

The Preservation of our Trú and Culture

Nordic Asa-Community takes its place as a guardian and pillar of our trú, our heritage, our origins, and our traditions.
