On June 28th, 2025, more than 60 guests gathered in a beautiful ceremonial circle in Hörvik, to witness a wedding ceremony held under the auspices of the Nordic Asa-Community.
Gyðja Lena Salomonsson, assisted by Kicki Bogren, felt a deep sense of reverence and warmth during the ceremony – a moment filled with love, tradition, and spiritual presence.
The couple, Harry and Annalisa, were united in a ceremony that carried traces of both Nordic and personal elements. Friends and family had traveled from near and far – some all the way from Italy, as Annalisa carries her roots from there. Their presence created a strong sense of community around the couple, where cultures and hearts met in respect and love.
At the center of this sacred moment stood the Sea God Njordr, who was invoked with reverence, as both the sea and fishing hold deep meaning for the couple. His presence was clearly felt – like a whispering breeze from the ocean, a promise of good gifts and safety on life’s shared journey.
The weather was initially cloudy, but just as the ceremony began, the sky opened up. The Sun Goddess Sunna suddenly shone down upon the gathering – as if she herself wished to offer her light, success, and happiness to the newlyweds. It became a magical moment where the powers of nature joined with the love of human hearts, and time seemed to stand still.
With love, vows, and joy, Harry and Annalisa were united in a ceremony that will live on in the memories of all who participated – like a beautifully woven bond between the asatru, love, and the eternal whispers of the sea.
