Gungnir and Draupnir invite you to Midwinter Blót.
18/1-2025 we gather at the walkways in Vårkumla outside Falköping for Midwinter Blót.
Gathering no later than 15.30 and the blót starts at 16.00.
Feel free to bring a stone from home to the ceremony that we will build a harg of after the blót.
(size up to a clenched fist)
We would like you to bring blót gifts that will be offered to the powers after the blót. Examples of gifts are flowers, grains, or other forms of BIOLOGICAL materials that nature itself can benefit from in some way.
For those who wish, it is possible to undergo the NAS/NAC Asatru initiation rite afterwards.
This means that you leave the religion you previously belonged to and before the powers enter the Asatru.
To undergo this rite costs SEK 160 / person and a certificate is issued afterwards. (The compensation goes to the Blót Kindreds and NAS/NAC)
We would like you to be in good time to the location for the blót and check in advance where it is located via a search engine so that you do not arrive too late.
Photography and filming may occur, and these media will be used on the Nordic Asa-community’s various media.
If you do not wish to be published, please inform one of the organizers before the event.
After the blót, we travel to a nearby party room for a nice get-together with good food and drinks.
Cost for the guild is 250 sek
This includes food and non-alcoholic drinks.
Any alcohol is brought yourself.
