This ceremony is open to the public and thus an excellent opportunity for those curious to gain insight into what we do.Perhaps you have been within the heathen sphere for a long time and wish to meet like-minded individuals.Perhaps this is something you have just discovered and want to learn more about.
Nordiska Asa-samfundet (Nordic Asa-community) and Gungnir welcome all with an open mind and good intentions.
The Victory Blót is the third blót that Odin established by law in Svíþjóð and takes place at the beginning of summer.
This is an important holiday that, in addition to marking the arrival of summer, also represents the pursuit of victory and success.
The Victory Blót was performed to seek divine blessings for triumph in the many challenges of the summer half-year.
However, in our modern times, our battles may not look the same as they did 1,000 years ago, and we now sacrifice based on the struggles we face and wish to overcome.
We honor and sacrifice to the divine powers during this ceremony so that they may grant us tools such as knowledge, will, and strength to win our personal battles.
The Victory Blót takes place on the third full moon after the Midwinter Blót and lasts for three days from the full moon.

What to Expect:
Depending on the occasion, we hold blóts for different reasons.
However, the underlying concept remains the same; we honor the powers and our ancestors and offer to them through thoughts, toasts, and gifts.
The hope is to receive something in return. What that might be is up to the practitioner.
As stated in Hávamál: “A gift demands a gift in return.”
Good to Know:
• Nordiska Asa-samfundet/Noric Asa-community is apolitical, and we therefore do not accept any politically charged messages during our blóts and rites.
• To participate, you must swear by the god Tyr.
If you cannot do so for any reason, you will not be able to join the blót circle.
• Bring your own drinking vessel.
This is used during the various toasts.
• We encourage bringing offerings in the form of items that nature itself can absorb.
This could be fruit, berries, grains, etc.
We also encourage bringing a stone about the size of a fist.
These are placed on the hargr over the years as a monument to our presence.
• Dress appropriately for the weather.
The ceremony is stationary, so comfortable shoes are also recommended.
• We offer an initiation rite on-site after the blót.
This means that you step into the Asatru in front of the powers.
This costs 100 SEK.The fee goes directly to the blót kindred and helps finance our activities. If you also want a physical certificate of the completed rite, an additional fee of 60 SEK applies.
We accept Swish.
Bring your own refreshments, there are benches and tables available for use after the blót.
(Photography and videotaping may occur at all Blót and community events and subsequently published on the community’s various platforms).
