Welcome to Draupnir’s Victory Blót.
This is a shared open blót where everyone is warmly welcome.
On Saturday, May 2, you are all welcome to a victory blót with NAS/NAC Blót Kindred Draupnir.
This blót will be held at the ring cairn in Röshult, Sweden..
The ring cairn is located approximately 5 kilometers south of Taberg in the village of Röshult; we will meet at 13:00 on Saturday, May 2.
The victory blót falls 3 full moons after the Midwinter Blót, which this year is May 1.
The victory blót is celebrated for three days and three nights, but we will only meet on Saturday.
At this blót, we will make offerings to the powers, so that they may grant us the strength, the opportunity, and the will to succeed in the various events we will face during the coming year.
We celebrate the victory over the cold, and we see how everything begins to grow and bloom again as summer begins.
The ring cairn is Sweden’s largest ring cairn and is located on a moraine ridge approximately 5 kilometers south of Taberg in the village of Röshult.
A short distance into the forest south of the village you will find the site.
It consists of a 5–7 meter wide stone embankment.
The embankment is circular and 35 meters in diameter.
Nearby there is also a burial field with a number of stone circles.
When the blót is concluded, we will have coffee with our own brought fika baskets in the area.
Please bring a drinking vessel that you can use for the toasts we will make during the ceremony.
Each person may also bring a suitable blót offering to the powers.

Jönköping Municipality.
From Månsarp railway station, drive south on road 650 for just under 3 km. Turn left (east) at the ancient monument sign. Continue a further 1.1 km south on a gravel road.
