Welcome to Draupnir’s Álfablót held at Fagertofta Burial Ground in Sweden.
We are surely neither the first nor the last to hold a blót at this fantastic location.
Draupnir has visited here several times before.
The burial ground is a very beautiful place that we are happy to return to.
The Álfablót occurs at the first full moon after the winter nights; we celebrate the blót on the following Saturday.
The Álfablót is dedicated to the elves, and we will honor ancestors, foremothers, family members, and relatives who are no longer with us in life.
In the village of Fagertofta, not far from Solberga/Nässjö, lies a well-maintained burial ground.
There are 42 graves.
You can see stone circles, stone settings, a cairn, and a trident.
The blót water we use during the ceremony will be taken from the Midsummer Spring located next to the burial ground parking.
After the blót, we will have coffee and snacks from a bring-your-own basket in the area.
Bring your own drinking vessel for the libations during the ceremony, as well as a blót offering that is organically biodegradable.
From Nässjö, take the road towards Solberga.
At Fagertofta, you will see a blue direction sign.
Follow the small gravel road for about 1 km.
There is a parking lot right by the burial ground. If it is full, continue about 150 m further along the gravel road to a turning area that can accommodate many cars.
