Welcome to Draupnir’s Dísablót.
This is a communal open blót where everyone is warmly welcome.
During the Dísablót we will honor all our dísir, all female divine beings.
Blót Kindred Draupnir calls you all to the Boeryd burial ground to hold Dísablót.
The blót will take place at the burial ground which lies right along the road, with a good parking area nearby that makes it easy both to find and to reach.
At the burial ground there are 17 stone circles (domarringar) measuring 4–10 meters in diameter; on the field there are also two triangular stone settings (treuddar).
After the blót there is an opportunity to be initiated into Ásatrú , which means that one renounces one’s current belief and enters Ásatrú.
The cost of the initiation ceremony is 100 SEK, which goes to the blót kindred.
If you would like a ceremonial certificate, an additional 60 SEK will be added.
We accept both cash and Swish.
Please inform officiant Peter Karlsson before the blót if you are interested.
Photography and video recording may occur at all of the community’s blóts and events and may later be published on the community’s various platforms. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please inform us before the blót begins.
Please bring a drinking vessel for the toasts that we will raise during the ceremony; everyone may also bring a suitable blót offering. After the blót we will have a communal moment together, either at the site with our own swedish fika if the weather allows, or we will continue to another location.
How to find the blót:
From Taberg: Turn off Bergslagsvägen and drive Nissanvägen northwest for just under 3 km to a road junction. Turn left, southward, and drive about 300 meters. The burial ground lies beside the road and is signposted.
