As there has been some confusion around and about our symbols\/runes, which is mostly due to ignorance or a desire to use symbols for their own gain. So NAS\/NAC now has a symbol lexicon. <\/strong>
Many people seem to think that symbols can be taken back or that they become something different after the wearer. This is simply wrong. A symbol cannot be taken back because it was never gone. To claim that a symbol has been gone is incorrect to claim that a symbol becomes something after the wearer. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A symbol has a fixed value, a fixed symbolism. It doesn’t change according to the wearer or their beliefs. A symbol can be neither \u2018good\u2019 nor \u2018evil\u2019. The wearer of a symbol does so because they appreciate the symbol’s inherent value. Both the value in faith and in culture. Not because the symbol appreciates the wearer and their opinions. A symbol has no opinions. Nor can they be filled with opinions no matter how much someone wants to. They are already filled with power, meaning and values. <\/strong>
These Norse symbols have a high value for us in terms of faith and culture. This value is fixed and should be cherished and the knowledge passed on. It is everyone’s duty and something we do together. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
